Health Tools that I use
In addition to my own diagnostic approach, I tend to use the following alternative technical analysis techniques to assist in gaining a holistic insight into a client's health.
Live Blood Analysis and Clot Retraction Test
Performed by Australian Biologics in Sydney these two tests take a pin prick of blood from each little finger and show, in the case of Live Blood Analysis, what is actually happening in the blood. This differs from the conventional blood tests which are more biochemical fraction based.
Apart from its assistance with diagnosis, one of the most fascinating things about this test is that you, the client, get to watch your own blood and for many people this is the first time they've seen red and white blood cells, platelets, and other components of the body's transport mechanism, as well as critters that shouldn't be there like bacterial rods and cocci, or l-forms such as fungi and other parasites. The blood can also show how competently the digestion is working by the presence of maldigested food particles or the instability and/or clumping of red blood cells.
Whilst LBA gives an indication of what the blood is transporting, the pattern that the blood takes when it clots, known as the Clot Retraction Test, may also indicate the integrity of organs and their relative susceptibility to oxidative damage and imbalance. This test looks at both acute affects (within 3 months) on the body and those that are more long term or chronic. Having used both these tests to monitor my own health, and analysed the tests from clients, I consider them very accurate and informative. Certainly far more meaningful and non-invasive than conventional equivalents.
Hair Analysis
This painless analysis of head hair from the nape region gives a good indication of what is being stored in the tissues and the mineral balance being experienced by the body. It is certainly very good at diagnosing heavy metal toxicity which can be at the root (pardon the pun) of many disease states. Whilst absolute figures on the metals present can be misleading, the ratios between the metal cations present are all important and with adequate analysis are very revealing. For more information on this test see Interclinical Lab Hair Analysis.
Apart from using their services on behalf of my clients, I have no association with either Australian Biologics or Interclinical Labs.
Dowsing
Finally, do not be surprised to see me get a pendulum out during our consultation because I have been a dowser longer than a health consultant and it is my first port of call for accessing my intuition whilst working with a client. There is nothing supernatural about dowsing, everyone can do it to a certain extent, just like playing the piano, but I have honed the art into a tool for better accessing and understanding my intuitive senses. Think of it as being a way of accessing one's gut feel about a problem in order to better understand the most appropriate solution. Of course, as you will come to see, I am also heavily dependent on my intellectual facilities when working with a client having been trained for many years in scientific disciplines. I'm just old enough and wise enough, I hope, to know to use both sides of my brain for the benefit of the client, not just the ultimately limiting options of logic alone.
